Thewalt is the oldest stein maker worldwide established by Albert Jac. Thewalt in 1893. Thewalt steins are made from finest German clay using handcraftsmanship and are being reproduced from the original molds by King-Werke (KING) of Höhr-Grenzhausen, Germany.

LIMITED EDITION of only 2,500 pieces worldwide! Each stein is individually numbered and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. 

Thewalt 1893 'Life's a Gamble' Stein, 0.5L is one of the original Thewalt 1893 Collector's Edition beer steins that is now produced by KING. The center panel show men gambling and drinking beer with a hound dog relaxed underneath the table. The right and left side panels collectively translate as follows: 

German: (R) "Das Leben ist ein Würfelspiel, wir würfeln alle Tage," (L) "dem einen gibt das Schicksal viel, dem andern Müh' und Plage."
English: "Life is a game of dice, that every day we roll, to some it brings good fortune, and from other's, takes its toll."

Features: medieval themed, relief panel, scrolls with German writing on both side panels with conical, hand-attached pewter lid
