Thewalt is the oldest stein maker worldwide established by Albert Jac. Thewalt in 1893. Thewalt steins are made from finest German clay using handcraftsmanship and are being reproduced from the original molds by King-Werke (KING) of Höhr-Grenzhausen, Germany.
This stein is crafted from stoneware with a raised-relief design. It features detailed panels of Munich's Rathaus, Hofbräuhaus, and Liebfrau Cathedral. Beneath these, a Munich Kindl holds a banner reading 'Gruss Aus München'. The panels are framed by satin gold oval borders, adding an elegant touch.
This piece is the fourth in Thewalt's new series of city steins, which celebrate the historic architecture of Germany's renowned cities. It is topped with an antique, conical pewter lid.
