8-Day: this means that you'll have to pull the chains about once a week.
  Some sites advertise more days, which is not true on any 8-Day clock. You’d have to hang a cuckoo at almost 9 feet tall to get more days from it.

36" (3 feet) Tall: Sized according to the Black Forest Clock Association Guidelines (top of clock to bottom of the case).
  Most online dealers add 4-9” for weights and/or pendulum to fool people on the size.
