The Original Snow Village

Our old-fashioned Dairy Queen is a delightful treat for the folks in Snow Village. With plenty of vintage flair, decals showcase the menu boards and signage that adorn all four sides of this charming ice cream parlor.

On a holiday outing years ago, several friends set off to enjoy dinner at a small county inn. What they found was a quaint village decorated for the holidays with lights glowing amid fresh-fallen snow. These warm feelings can be shared through the artistry and craftsmanship celebrated in this nostalgic collection.

Each piece is handcrafted of ceramic, individually hand painted, and fired with a glaze finish. Fired onto the base of every house is the Department 56 logo- a guarantee of authenticity. Every year pieces are retired and the molds broken leaving room for new pieces that capture the heart and spirit of small-town America.

Gift box included. Packaged in a sturdy, full-color box designed to protect and preserve the piece year after year.
