This beer stein showcases the notorious English pirate Edward Teach, better known as Blackbeard. The front is adorned with a ship’s wheel, a “Pirate” banner, and a sparkling Swarovski crystal (crystal color varies by stein). On each side, you’ll find a ship, a treasure chest, and an anchor, with two snakes entwined in the anchor’s line near the base. The handle is crafted from a pistol and sword grip, topped off with a relief pewter lid.
Blackbeard’s brief reign of terror in the Caribbean Sea lasted from 1716 to 1718. He captained the Queen Anne’s Revenge and was said to have lit cannon fuses protruding from under his hat, creating a black cloud of smoke around him.
