Elevate your drinking experience with the tale that inspired castles built by King Ludwig II

This 2-liter 2001 Limitaet beer stein features the romantic medieval tale of Lohengrin, a knight of the Holy Grail. On the front, Lohengrin stands in a shell-shaped boat pulled by a swan, sent to rescue Princess Elsa of Brabant in Antwerp. The folktale was first told in lyrical form by Wolfram von Eschenbach around 1200 and later revived by composer Richard Wagner in 1850.

On the left, Elsa gazes from a balcony, awaiting rescue, while on the right, Lohengrin sits on a bench beside her. The base is adorned with vignettes of King Ludwig, Neuschwanstein, and Richard Wagner.

Originally designed around 1888 by the famous stein creator Gustav Thinwibel, this piece is now being beautifully reproduced by King-Werk GmbH. The finely hand-painted stein showcases a cream, brown, and deep cobalt blue background, and comes with a certificate of authenticity and history in both German and English.
